Hello Fellow Americans,
After our last blog on Supreme Court Justices, you guys felt that more information was needed on the Supreme Court itself. So, today we’re going to discuss the focal points of the Supreme Court to clear up any confusion.
Let’s get started…
The Supreme Court is the highest and most powerful court in U.S. government—with the sole responsibility of ensuring equal justice among the law. They are able to declare a constitutional sentiment unjustifiable and supersede other court orders.
The Supreme court is made up of a Chief Justice and a number (decided by congress) of Associate Justices. This ensures a proper, well-researched verdict is reached with the extreme cases that make it to the Supreme Court.
Overall, the Supreme Court has the highest jurisdiction amongst the legal land in the United States. This is where the most extreme and controversial cases are conducted to reach the best and most fair verdict possible.
So, let us know in the comments if you have any additional questions regarding the Supreme Court and we’d be more than happy to answer them!
