Hello Fellow Americans,
Have You ever thought about all the beautiful national monuments that are laid all around the United States? We have so many things just waiting for us to see—so, I figured we could go over the top 5 today. Whether you live close or need to travel a bit, I would highly recommend seeing these American hotspots.
Let’s Get Started…
The Statue of Liberty
This is in the New York Habor—you could take a boat ride there and even tour inside (it’s absolutely breathtaking).
The Lincoln Memorial
This is in Washington D.C. and is a beautiful way to honor one of the most notable presidents who died preserving the rights of our nation—Abraham Lincoln.
The Washington Monument
This is also located in Washington D.C. It’s a huge, erect statue that holds so much history and commemorates our first ever president—George Washington.
Fort Sumter
This is located in the Charleston Harbor and was the exact point where the American Civil War was set off—which changed the course of American history forever.
Mount Rushmore
Coming in last, but certainly not least is obviously Mt. Rushmore (located in South Dakota). It contains a memorial including the carved faces of Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt.
So, if you haven’t visited these awesome places, you totally should. Let us know in the comments if you’ve ever been to one of these locations or have any plans to in the future.
