Hello Fellow Americans,
Congratulations, chances are if you’re reading this blog you got through all the others, trying to decide what political affiliation you associate with and will fight to have in our nation. But, some of you still may not have any clue what you should identify and don’t whole heartedly believe in the notions of any specific party.
Well, that’s totally ok, because you could identify as an independent. This just means you don’t want to be affiliated with any political party for whatever reason. It could be that you have a few beliefs from all parties or share absolutely nothing with them.
Regardless, we figured we would go deeper and explore the notion of registering as independent on your voting application.
What It Means To Be Independent
Definition: one that is not bound by or definitively committed to a political party
- Follow historical context regarding politics and go back to the notion of our founding fathers of keeping the nation together and not forming a divide in politics.
- May have independent views, meaning new notions and ideas that have not been brought up in congress or before U.S. citizens.
- Usually when voting they choose the person who they think will do the most work across the board and not just in one area.
So, now that you have one political affiliation to choose from (which is essentially choosing not to affiliate), where do you stand? Let us know in the comments down below!
Stay Strong Patriot!!!
