Why Do We Have Checks & Balances?

Hello Fellow American,

Have you ever wondered how checks and balances work to keep our country and government intact? We know we certainly have, and we got our entire team to investigate the purpose of our checks and balance system and put it into blog format for your reading convenience.

 So, let’s get started…

 To Keep Government Sectors Accountable

The main purpose of the entire checks and balance system is to keep every portion of government accountable for their actions and decisions. Especially when it comes to the three branches of government—The Executive, Judicial and Legislative which we have covered extensively in our past blogs.

Block Too Much Power

This system also stops any branch of government from receiving too much power, keeping every portion equal and running efficiently.

Has It’s Own Sections

The check and balance system is primarily operated by three different sections of government known as the president, congress, and the court—which all work together to ensure nobody gets carried away.

Overall, the checks and balance system is implemented to keep America running smoothly and give a voice to not only the government but the citizens as well. Let us know if you have any questions regarding this system and we’ll be more than happy to address them.

See You Later Patriot!!!
