Hello fellow Americans,
Have you ever decided to simply not vote in an election? Whether you didn’t like the candidates, or you simply did not make it out—I’m here to tell you why that’s a terrible idea.
Chances are you had a candidate you would prefer over the other, but you simply did not want to commit. However, by doing this you become part of the marginalized percentage who skew the voting results. This means the person you really didn’t want to win has an even bigger chance of winning, because you decided to abstain from voting.
Take A Look At These Statistics From 2016…
This shows everyone who voted broken down into a scalable measure—you can see a lot of results weigh heavier than others. This is because a lot of people didn’t vote, and the results certainly showed it.
The 2016 presidential election was the absolute best example of this—it was such a controversial election that resulted in the majority vote being extremely skewed.
Think of it like this, we have a vote to right through a democratic process for a reason—to get our voices heard and our opinions out there. Although it’s just one vote it truly makes a difference in the grand scheme of things.
So no matter who it is—GET OUT THERE & VOTE!
Stay Strong Patriot!!!
